Hi! Let Me Introduce Myself

All of this started out as an outlet, an escape at a point in my life when I was at a lost. I left working for a large corporation and had no direction, no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I started looking for a creative outlet; low and behold there was a bead shop down the street that offered beading classes. I signed up for a class and and I was hooked!

Eventually I progressed from beading to metalsmithing. Most of the metalsmithing techniques I've mastered have been self-taught; forging, soldering, texturing etc. By no means has my journey been easy, there have been a lot of ups and downs through the years, but I am finally at a place where I can call myself an artisan.

Every piece of jewelry is made by hand, one piece at a time. The designs are constantly evolving and changing. I take inspiration from beauty around me to the transformation from the beauty of the materials themselves, blending elements of the timeless with a contemporary style. I believe that a piece of jewelry ought to be a work of art that makes a positive impression on you. Accessorizing is a form of personal expression and there is no wrong way to be 100% authentically you!

Sunrise Jewelry Studio offers jewelry made from the finest materials such as Sterling silver, brass, copper and argentum sterling silver where possible; because it is pure silver with the alloy germanium which reduces tarnishing considerably. I also offer natural stones such as turquoise or amber as well as various gems and cubic zirconia. Materials are sourced from highly reputable suppliers and are designed, made, and shipped from Columbus, Ohio.

I hope my pieces find their way to the significant moments of you or your loved one's lives. When someone is touched by one of my creations, it’s so gratifying that it motivates me to go even further to design more.
